Arrival at Casablanca Airport and departure to Marrakech, founded by the Almoravides at the end of the 11th century and transfer to hotel.
Day 2/ Marrakech
Departure for a historical sightseeing including a photo stop at the famous Koutoubia Minaret; the most important monument of the city with its imposing 77 meters high Minaret. Visit the Souks, the most colorful of Morocco, where craftsman are regrouped in corporations. Continue with the visit of the sumptuous Bahia Palace built in the 18th century. In the afternoon, discover the fortification surrounding the city, the palm grove. Visit of the Majorelle garden, this haven of peace bought back and rehabilitated by Yves Saint-Laurent is now known all over the world. Continue with the visit of the famous Jemaa El Fna Square. Here and every afternoon, all year around, storytellers, poets, snake- charmers, acrobats and musicians offer astonishing shows in this fabulous open-air theatre. Transfer to hotel.
Day 3 / Marrakech – Ait Benhaddou – Ouarzazate
Transfer to Ouarzazate through the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi-n-Tichka pass. On the road, photo-stops at typical Berber villages with a panoramic view over the valley of Ouarzazate. Stop at the Kasbah Aït Ben Haddou and visit. Protected by UNESCO, it has been the setting for many international movies. Continue to Ouarzazate and visit. The area is a very famous place for its film industry. Visit the Taourirte Kasbah, former residence of the El Glaoui, pasha of Marrakech, and the Cinema Museum.
Day 4 / Ouarzazate – Tineghir - Erfoud
Departure to The Dades and Todra Gorges which provide some of the most spectacular scenery of the south. Continue to Erfoud and transfer to hotel.
Day 5 / Erfoud – Merzouga - Midelt - Fez
Early morning departure to Merzouga with four wheel vehicles. Observe the sunrise in the desert, a lifetime experience. Return to hotel for breakfast, then departure to Fez via Midelt. Wonderful landscapes of the middle Atlas Mountains and the Ziz Gorges and its palm groves to enjoy throughout the day. Transfer to hotel upon arrival.
Day 6/ Fez
Full day dedicated to the visit of Fez. Its medina which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage, is undeniably the most captivating medina of the kingdom with its eighty-seven quarters and its various markets. Walking through the little streets allows discovering the different souks. Each one is dedicated to a specific craft as Attarine Souk for the spices or Souk of the dyers. Discover the antique leather tanning and dyeing process and visit a Merdersa (religious school). City tour outside the medina including the Royal Palace Gate and stop at Borj Nord Fort which offers a beautiful view over Fez. Transfer back to hotel.
Day 7/ Fez – Casablanca
Transfer to Casablanca. Drive through the economic capital. Overview of the main points of interest: the Corniche Boulevard, the United Nations Square, and the various contrasted districts of this cosmopolitan city. Photo stop at the impressive Hassan II mosque. Transfer to Hotel.
Day 8/ Casablanca
Transfer to Casablanca Mohammed V Airport for final departure.
